Ideal location just south of the Cotswolds, full of countryside charm. Lovely family who genuinely make you feel at home. Great recommendations for exploring the Cotswolds. Only 1h45 from London, worth the trip. Even offered to drive us if needed. King size bed like sleeping on a cloud, full size bathtub to soak in. Beautiful gardens and peace. Excellent communication, even took the kids to collect eggs. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation & hosts. Loved the ducks, chickens, and light-up shower. Don't hesitate to book!
Recommend this hotel.

Shower lacked a wall hook.

I recently stayed at Gardeners Cottage for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, with stunning grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. Chuck's breakfasts were excellent, and the cottage itself was beautifully presented with lovely flower arrangements. The welcome basket with fresh duck eggs, marmalade, bread, milk, and butter was a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Gardeners Cottage for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The hosts, Janey and Chuck, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast of poached eggs and bagels. The location was ideal for visiting Bourton-on-the-Water, The Slaughters, and Castle Combe, which were all a short drive away. a lovely stay with charming accommodations and friendly hosts.

We were attending a wedding and arrived late at night. Chuck went above and beyond to guide us through the fog and ensure we arrived safely. He even stayed on the phone to help us with the wifi code and provided a laugh. The next day, Chuck graciously drove us to the wedding and came back at midnight to pick us up. We felt so well taken care of, like we were staying with friends. The cottage itself was charming, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the park and pond from our bedroom. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this place.

I had the most wonderful stay at a cosy and tranquil place in the Cotswolds. The hosts were incredibly kind and upgraded us to a beautiful two-bedroom cottage for our honeymoon. We were welcomed with fresh duck eggs, homemade marmalade, biscuits, and a bottle of prosecco. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed watching the ducks by the pond each morning. Our hosts also gave us great tips for dining and navigating Bath. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, and the cottage had all the amenities we needed, including WiFi and Sonos connected to Spotify. The gardens were lovely, and the kids had a great time on the trampoline. The owners were attentive and even offered to book restaurants for us. The breakfasts cooked by Chuck were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

My recent stay at a charming cottage just south of the Cotswolds was simply delightful. The hosts warmly welcomed me and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They provided fantastic recommendations for local attractions, including the amazing Cattle Country park that my 2-year-old absolutely loved. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, with modern touches and a lovely country feel. It truly felt like a home away from home. The thoughtful little touches, such as fresh eggs, milk, and preserves, made me feel so well taken care of. The surrounding grounds were picturesque, and I enjoyed leisurely walks and even bouncing on the trampoline in their apple field with my little one. I couldn't have asked for a better location, with so many places to visit nearby. The cottage was worth every penny, and the hosts were exceptional in accommodating special requests. I highly recommend this wonderful cottage for a memorable stay in the Cotswolds.

The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished. We loved the large bathroom and the comfy furniture. the hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even provided us with fresh eggs from the duck pond! the location was extremely quiet and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also appreciated the free essentials in the cupboard and fridge.
One of the only downsides was the older television, which didn't allow us to cast from our phones to watch Netflix. taller guests may find themselves having to duck in the upstairs area due to the sloped roof.

We had an exceptional stay at a beautiful cottage in a tranquil location with gorgeous surroundings. The cottage itself was adorable and cosy, with comfortable bedrooms and spotlessly clean amenities. The gardens and grounds were spacious and provided a picturesque setting. The use of bikes and reliable wifi were added bonuses. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and thoughtful touches, such as fresh bread, eggs, and butter. Despite some minor drawbacks like a low-angle ceiling upstairs and limited hot water in the shower, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We had a truly peaceful and rejuvenating stay in the beautiful English countryside. the spacious rooms were spotlessly clean and the king size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. the full size bathtub was perfect for a long soak, and the beautiful gardens added to the calming atmosphere.
The only minor downside was the lack of a washing line and pegs, but we managed just fine with the provided airer.

loved staying at the cottage again, even better this time! Chuck and Janey were incredible hosts, providing fresh eggs, marmalade, and more. Beds were comfy and decor was tasteful. Can't recommend enough!
Beds a bit small for my liking.

This charming cottage in the Cotswolds is the perfect base for exploring the area. With its stunning gardens and easy access to bridleways and footpaths, it offers a tranquil and picturesque setting. the warm welcome and thoughtful touches, such as the loan of bikes and the provision of essential food items, make for a delightful stay. the clean and cosy cottage has everything you need, including a BBQ for enjoying the outdoors.
The only drawback is that the shower in the cottage lacks a hook to fix it on the wall, requiring guests to sit in the bath. Nonetheless, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall wonderful experience.
